Hygrophorus camarophyllus (Fr.) Dumée, Grandjean & Maire Szürkésbarna csigagomba. Cap 2-7cm across, bluntly convex, slightly knobbed or flat with an umbo; browny gray with fine dark lines; sticky when wet, then dry and smooth, with a downy margin. Gills adnate, close to subdistant, moderately broad, very waxy; white or slightly grayish. Stem 25-130 x 10-20mm; pale, smoky gray-brown; silky with fine hairs near the top, smooth and hairless toward base. Flesh thick, fragile; white. Odor slight, faintly of coal tar. Taste mild. Spores ellipsoid, 7-9 x 4-5µ. Deposit white. Habitat scattered to gregarious. Found in northern North America. Season June-November. Edible
